We process deer all season at 938 Hoover's Lane, Tyrone, PA 16686. Every deer is cut to the sheet you fill out, then labeled, vacuum sealed, boxed and frozen. Four generations of the Sprankle family have run the block here.
We serve Tyrone, Bellwood, Altoona, Huntingdon, Port Matilda, Warriors Mark and Philipsburg, and the rest of Blair, Huntingdon and Centre counties.

These are the choices on our deer sheet. Fill it out online after you book, or at the counter.

Deer bologna
Deer bologna in plain, sweet, hot or cheddar, in 3.5 lb packages. Choose how many packages of each flavor on your cut sheet, or have the whole deer made into bologna.
How it works
- Book your drop-off day online, or call the shop.
- Fill out your deer cut sheet on your phone, whenever it suits you.
- Bring your deer in. In season we take deer until 8pm.
- If you ask for texts, we text you when your deer is in and again when it is ready.
- Pick up your order labeled, vacuum sealed, boxed and frozen.
Deer processing questions
When can I drop off a deer?
During shop hours (Monday to Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, Saturday 8:00am to 12:00pm, Sunday By appointment). For drop-off after hours, call to set up a time. We accept deer until 8pm.
Do I have to book ahead?
You can book your drop-off day online and fill out your cut sheet before you come, so there is nothing to write at the counter. Or call the shop and we will book it with you.
How will I know my deer is ready?
Tick the box for texts when you book and we text you when your deer is in and again the moment it is ready for pickup. The link in the text opens your own order.
Can you make the whole deer into bologna?
Yes. Pick whole deer in bologna on the cut sheet, or keep your steaks and roasts and choose how many packages of plain, sweet, hot or cheddar bologna you want.
